Medical Surgical Nursing
The purpose of this department is to enable students to identify the etiology, Pathophysiology, symptomatology, diagnostic measures and management (Medical, Nursing, dietetic) of common medical, surgical, communicable and non-communicable diseases and to develop proficiency in caring for patients with these diseases. The courses of Medical Nursing, Surgical Nursing and Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing are placed in second and third years of BSc Nursing Degree.
