Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing
This department prepare the students to appreciate the concepts and principles of Obstetric Nursing and helps them to acquire knowledge and develop attitude and beginning skills in rendering nursing care to normal and high risk pregnant women during antenatal, natal and post-natal periods in hospital and community settings. It also helps to develop skills in managing normal and high risk neonates and participate in family welfare programmes. The course of OBG Nursing is placed in IVth year BSc Nursing and students are given clinical posting in Government and Private hospitals.
